The Moreno, Almendrala, and Seriña-Roa clans, along with relatives and friends, are mourning the passing of Meylinda “Neneth” Moreno Paceño, who passed away peacefully on September 17, 2026, after a long and difficult health journey. Her loss has brought deep sadness to her family, who remember her with love, gratitude, and cherished memories.
Neneth endured years of medical challenges with remarkable strength and courage. For about a decade, she regularly underwent hemodialysis, and her eyesight gradually declined until she became completely blind nearly three years ago. Despite the hardships she faced, she continued to persevere through every challenge with the support and love of those around her.
She passed away surrounded by her husband, Jimmy, and her children, who lovingly cared for her during her final moments. Her family is also grateful that her sisters, Manang Nena and Grace, were able to return home from South America and the United States and spend precious time with Neneth before her passing.
Neneth’s death came just one day before the wedding anniversary of her parents, Ting and Inday Moreno, adding another emotional moment for the family as they grieve her loss. Her loved ones are now preparing to bring her remains to their ancestral home in Balingasag, where she will lie in state until funeral arrangements and interment details are finalized.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone who prayed for Neneth, visited her, supported her, and showed kindness throughout her years of illness, especially during her final weeks. The love and care she received will remain a meaningful part of her story.
